Recently, one of our customer sent us a quote request for below dimension of Y25 ferrite magnets:
One of the magnet 85x8x53mm is required to be magnetized through 53mm.But actually, the magnetism orientation of magnets through length(thickness), maximum length(thickness) is 50mm.
5-6 units of above ferrite magnets will be put into a huge cylinder of D1.2x3.2m, half of the cylinder is empty, and half of it will be filled with magnets. The aim of the cylinder is to retain the fine particles of iron ore. So a pretty high surface gauss strength will be require.
In fact, we are not able to garantee that the surface of cylinder will achieve the guass strength as required. Because magnets are customized products, unlike those standard products that will have a specific data. Magnets need to be manufactured and checked tha surface gauss strength by actual measurement. Moreover, quantity won’t effect the magnetic flux of magnets. Magnetic flux refers to a single magnet. When multiple magnets are used together, the magnetic effect will increase.
